As a tourism company it can be hard to compete with all the big multinationals in your destination. Which is such a shame, since you as a local business have so much more culture and authenticity to offer to tourists than those big cooperates do. But how do you stand out in this gigantic industry? Simone van Nieuwstadt
Simone van Nieuwstadt is the founder of ARA Tourism Consultancy. She is a travel lover and has a lot of global experience. To be able to set off working in the tourism industry she studied International Sustainable Tourism Development at Wageningen University in the Netherlands. With a minor in Entrepreneurship and finance at NTU in Singapore. After this she continued with the Master's Consultancy and Entrepreneurship at Rotterdam Business School.
During her travels she came in contact with many tourism business owners, by hearing their struggles, questions, and visions she came up with the idea of ARA Tourism Consultancy; helping smaller businesses to improve, grow, be seen, and become more attractive than large internationals!
